Educators are joining parents, students and community leaders across the country to demand their direct involvement in decisions that impact public schools. In communities across the country, these key stakeholders are demanding more for America’s kids than the current proliferation of market-driven reforms which proliferate rather than address inequity. Rather than corporate takeover, our communities are demanding that the people who know our students best, devise and implement community-driven solutions that will decrease the opportunity gaps in American education.
