Every two years, the Texas Legislature convenes for a 140-day regular legislative session. The 2017 session began shortly after Trump's inauguration, and flipping the U.S. Congress became the organizing principle of many new grassroots groups like ours.

2019 will be different. Following on the heels of the midterm elections, and with two years of organizing experience behind us, we are ready to give the Texas state legislature much more attention.
