Spring Rebellion
It's time to act as if the truth is real.
We are in a climate and ecological emergency. Our political system is failing to protect us. We must act now.
During Spring Rebellion, with your help, we will bring mass, non-violent, civil disobedience to the streets of Adelaide. Events throughout the week will bring disruption to the city.
Our plans for the Spring Rebellion are ambitious but necessary given the state of the crisis. The success of the rebellion will be determined by the number of people we can mobilise for our actions. We need your support now more than ever.

This all ages bike swarm is a shorter version of our regular bike swarms. It is open to cyclists of all abilities, and roller skaters, wheelchairs and unicycles are welcome. The pace will be slow and the atmosphere will be festive.

We will end this event at the King William St End of Rundle Mall Come and join us as we stand up and sing about the need for action on the climate emergency! All abilities, all ages, and all singers are welcome.
Role Descriptions
Action Support - Looking after rebels immediately before, during and immediately after actions.
Arrestee Support - Wait for and support any rebels who have been arrested or detained by police to ensure their wellbeing.
First Aid - Provide first aid during actions. Must have qualification or experience providing first aid.
Wellbeing Support - Provide additional support outside of Actions to ensure the wellbeing of rebels (eg. cooking, facilitating debriefs, running regenerative events)
Photography - Capture photos of events and people of XR, edit and send to Media and Messaging team.
Videography - Capture the moving image of events and people of XR, edit and send to Media and Messaging team.
Instagram/FB Live Streamer - Capture footage at events straight to our FB and Instagram page.
Media Representative - Talk to the media to articulate our values, principles and what our events entail.
Ask Me Volunteer - In pairs, handing out flyers and being the contact point for members of the public to ask question about the action, about XR and about the global climate and ecological crisis.
Outreach - Help us call, text and email the growing list of new rebels who want to take action with Extinction Rebellion.
