I authorize my employer, Brown University, to deduct from my salary or wages an amount certified by the union as my regular current dues and to remit such amount monthly to the Union. The voluntary authorization and assignment shall be irrevocable for a period of one year from the date of authorization, and shall automatically renew from year to year unless I revoke this authorization by sending written notice to my Union. Dues paid to GLO may not be deductible for Federal Income Tax purposes, however, under limited circumstances, dues may qualify as a business expense. *
