Stand with Ukraine: Sign the Pledge to Boycott Russia Now

As the world unites to hold Russia accountable for its war on Ukraine, there is one action every day Americans can take to pile on and stand with the people of Ukraine.

We can refuse to buy Russian goods like vodka and jewelry. We can refuse to do business with Russian businesses and American companies that do business with Russia.

We must #BoycottRussia

Economic sanctions can be a powerful tool for accountability and a disincentive for further escalation and aggression.

That’s why world leaders have taken many steps that directly impact Vladimir Putin, Russian businesses and the Russian economy. Germany has halted the Nord Stream 2 Baltic Sea gas pipeline project. America, Britain and the EU rolled out restrictions on the sale of Russian debt and the freezing of assets of Russian oligarchs and their children, banks and parliamentarians. And, together with the move to block some Russian banks from the SWIFT payment network critical to the transfer of capital and sanctions on the Central Bank of Russia, the Russian National Wealth Fund and the Ministry of Finance, the ruble has cratered by more than 30% already.

Major American businesses are also taking action and divesting from the Russian economy. Apple will no longer sell products in Russia. Delta Air Lines dropped all ties to Russia’s Aeroflot. And BP Gas is divesting their entire 19.75% stake, currently valued at $14 billion, from Rosneft, a state-controlled Russian oil and gas company. It’s a big move by BP and should be a model for action taken by every business with ties to Russia. It’s time for all of us to join the fight one person at a time.

It’s time for everyday Americans to join the fight against this assault on our democracy too and we can start by boycotting the products and companies below until Russia is defeated or American companies divest completely and stop financing the Russian economy.
