October 14th is the primary election for the New Orleans municipal races. Step Up Louisiana has endorsed in several races and will be canvassing with our ballot in hand over the next serval weeks.
All of our endorsed candidates align with Step Up Louisiana's values.
1. They have all agreed to adopt our Economic Justice 3 Point Platform: $15 Minimum Wage, Equal Pay for Equal Work for Women and Ban the Box
2. They all support public education and sustainable community schools
3. They are all responsive to neighborhood and community needs
