We need your support to stop House Bill 1141. Currently making its way through the Missouri State legislature, this education bill is loaded down with harmful amendments seeking to undermine the rights of people all across the state, including transgender children.

The Missouri's House of Representatives have attached an amendment to HB 1141 (a bill protecting students whose GPA was adversely affected by COVID-19) that would ban transgender youth from participating on a sports team that corresponds with their gender identity. They didn’t stop there. In the same bill, the legislature is trying to ban teaching critical race theory. We cannot learn from history if we censure history. This legislation is becoming an omnibus hate bill and we need your help to stop it.

HB 1141 singles out transgender students and limits the ability of every student in Missouri to learn our unvarnished history and dream a better future.
