Support Network Delaware's Teams on the Day of Action!
Looking for a quick and easy way to support some of Network Delaware's teams? Sign up for the Day of Action!
On Wednesday, May 15th, several of our teams will be providing opportunities for new and current volunteers to support their work. Here's how to participate: sign up to take action with one or more of our teams. Once you fill out this pledge, use the links on the following page to complete your chosen action!
These actions will be short and simple. Some examples might be: calling/emailing your legislator, inviting 10 people to the team's next meeting, signing a petition, or joining a quick brainstorming or planning session with the team. And all of the actions are meant for everyone--new volunteers included!
Here's a quick summary of the participating teams:
- Civic Action Alert Team (the team that writes our Civic Action Alert emails)
- Civic Achievement Group (the team that provides a support space for folks working on their Civic Achievement plans)
- Volunteer Team (the team that helps our volunteers work on internal improvements to Network Delaware in our Comms, Fundraising, and Volunteer Management)
- Black Mothers in Power (our supported issue campaign that focuses on closing racial disparities in Black maternal health outcomes)
- Campaign to End Debtors Prison (our supported issue campaign that focuses on addressing our court system's fines and fees that disproportionately punish low income folks)
- HOMES Campaign (our supported issue campaign that focuses on housing justice)
We are hoping to use this Day of Action to show folks the great work that our teams are doing across the organization and to introduce our volunteers to new teams and programs. Network Delaware will be posting about the different teams and actions throughout the day on May 15th, so stay tuned to see your work get a special shout-out!
