On Wednesday, April 5, a group of eleven Bay Area activists -- the J20 Resisters -- will be arraigned on criminal charges stemming from a direct action on Inauguration Day 2017.  The group was protesting the tech industry's complicity with Trump's administration.

George Gascon, former police chief of San Francisco, has yet to file criminal charges against any police officer in numerous cases of brutality, abuse, and unjustified killing of civilians. Gascon uses his position to shield dangerous cops from prosecution.

Yet, this is the second year in a row that he is targeting activists seeking to eliminate these injustices and hold accountable the structures and institutions responsible for them. The J20 Resisters all face multiple criminal tresspasses charges.
