Thank you for being a racial justice voter!

White racial solidarity, manipulated and bolstered by the right’s strategic funding and organizing in majority white areas, has expanded and mobilized a reactionary base with electoral power. SURJ is committed to breaking the power of the far right - and our electoral program is one way we’re contributing to that important project.

In the coming months, SURJ is launching a program to organize and turn out poor and working class white voters in strategic geographies. In partnership with groups such as the Working Families Party, SURJ will be mobilizing voters across the country. We need your voice, time and commitment to be successful.

SURJ will be organizing in swing states such as Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Arizona, Florida, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. If you have any relationships or connections in these states or if you are particularly interested in organizing in them, please let us know by completing the survey on the right side of your browser.

SURJ will also be working hard on campaigns that have the potential to make systemic change to our criminal justice system at the local level - specifically, Sherriffs and District Attorneys, and ballot initiatives.
