Domestic Violence Survivors Deserve a Fair Shot

Yesterday, Mayor Bowser released her proposed budget. This budget fails to meet the critical needs of domestic violence survivors in our city.  Budgets are more than numbers, they are values statements that communicate the vision and priorities for our collective Washington, DC.

We are experiencing a watershed moment in our country. Survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault are coming forward after living in the shadows for years, even decades.  We must not turn back the clock. Survivors deserve a fair shot. We need your help to ensure that  our leaders make funding for domestic violence survivors and prevention a priority.

Join us to ensure that ALL domestic violence survivors get a fair shot. Let us know that you'll stand with us as we look to the DC Council to fill the gap. Use the links below to tweet your Councilmembers!

Thank you for advocating for survivors.
