We can have the filibuster or we can have democracy. We can’t have both.

The filibuster is an arbitrary Senate rule that threatens to dismantle our democracy. It’s a Jim Crow relic that empowers radical Republicans like Mitch McConnell and conservative Democrats like Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema to stand in the way of progress.

The filibuster is not part of the Constitution, and there is no valid reason for it to exist in 2022.
