Take Action Against Uber!

Uber has clearly chosen profit over the well-being of Muslim families, the rights of organized labor and the strength of communities standing in solidarity with refugees, and Cosecha is mobilizing in response.

On Saturday, just as hundreds of thousands took over their local airports to stand against the #MuslimBan and the New York Taxi Drivers Alliance announced it was stopping pickups in solidarity with two Iraqi travelers who were detained, Uber tried to take advantage of our grassroots organizing efforts and tried to limit the effect of the Taxi Drivers' strike by providing airport service and even lowering their prices.

Now is the time to #DeleteUber! We must not cooperate with Uber or any company that is profiting from aligning with the Trump administration in this moment.

In addition, let's publicly denounce #UbeRacist and make sure this non cooperation is visible in the streets. Let's organize banner drops, sit-ins, and direct actions at Uber offices to make it clear that we are on the side of permanent protection, dignity, and respect for Muslim immigrants and refugees.

Let's show our collective power as consumers and take down the structural pillars that openly sustain a fascist America.
