The petition to AT&T reads:

"Immediately stop making donations to any and all Political Action Committees linked to politicians who objected to the certification of Joe Biden’s election."

The events of January 6th are etched into our brains. The insurrection ended with a violent attack on the U.S. Capitol, the death of 5 people, and the fabric of our nation in tatters.

After the dust had settled, companies lined up in droves to be the first to denounce the events of that day and commit to suspending funding to complicit politicians. One of the first was AT&T. but unfortunately, AT&T’s “commitment” didn’t last very long.

According to a report by Popular Information, AT&T, one of the country’s most active political donors, found a loophole that allows them to continue donating thousands of dollars to Republican groups closely tied to politicians who stood against Biden’s certification, including Sen. Ted Cruz.
