Tell Congress: Weatherize low-income homes now!

This year, millions of Americans have experienced weather whiplash — the extreme temperature swings that brought snow and below-freezing temperatures to the American South in February and a heatwave that scorched the Pacific Northwest just three months later.

While these extreme weather changes can be chaotic, for America’s low-income families, they can also be deadly — especially in poorly maintained homes with little or no weatherization. More than 300 people have died due to the severe weather in the Pacific Northwest heatwave and Southern coldsnap alone.

Sign this petition from Dream Corps Green For All urging Congress to pass legislation that would weatherize and upgrade one million low-income family homes.
