Tell Google: Delete Location Data to Protect Abortion Seekers

This petition reads:

"Google must stop collecting individual location data now to protect abortion seekers from policing and geofence warrants."

Now that the Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade, people who want abortions will need to travel to states where it remains protected or seek abortion medication online. But police can use individual location data from smartphones to track and prosecute people who seek abortions.

Right now, police use geofence warrants to harvest data about every person in a given location at a specific time. These warrants – and the individual location data they harvest – put people seeking abortions at risk of policing and prosecution.

That’s why we need Google to stop collecting individual location data now to protect abortion seekers from invasive data collection and policing.

Sign the petition if you agree: Google must take action and delete location data to protect people seeking abortions.
