NYC Mayor Eric Adams has brought back Rudy Giuliani‘s broken-windows policing in a misguided effort to regain and increase subway ridership lost during the pandemic.

The policy didn’t work under Giuliani and it got even worse under Michael Bloomberg when he added the tactic of “Stop and Frisk.” It didn’t work then and it isn’t going to work now.
