The petition to Pres. Biden reads:

“Do not expand offshore drilling for oil and natural gas.”

Climate change is here now and it is wreaking havoc around the globe in the form of deadly heat waves, unprecedented superstorms and historic flooding.

Despite that fact, the Biden administration argued recently that climate change ”does not present sufficient cause” to halt its plan to expand offshore drilling, and that it plans to move forward with the expansion.
