Tell Pres. Biden: Save US-made electric vehicle batteries

The petition to Pres. Biden reads: "Veto the International Trade Commission’s decision that threatens U.S. production of electric vehicle batteries."

A trade court's decision between two Korean makers of electric vehicle (EV) batteries is throwing a wrench into Joe Biden's plan to grow the electric vehicle market. The dispute also upends a factory expansion in Georgia, promising 2,600 jobs to Georgians making parts for the cars of the future.

President Biden can fix the mess by issuing a presidential veto of the International Trade Commission's decision. Presidents Obama and Reagan have both used the veto, and now it's time for Biden to take action to secure the future of American-made EVs.
