Members of the Texas State House of Representatives heroically denied a quorum to Republicans seeking to roll back voting rights in the state, then took to Washington DC to fight back by urging Senate Democrats to scrap the filibuster and pass federal voting rights legislation to secure the right to vote.

The Texas Dems have met with many of the Senate Democrats -- even those who support a supermajority requirement like Joe Manchin. But Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) still has not met with them.
