Tell USDA: Better Care Standards for Birds
_Nik_Borrow_(2).png)
For the first time ever, the USDA has proposed a set of care standards that would protect millions of captive birds. This is a historic step -- but we're not done yet.
ACT NOW: The proposed standards had a few glaring, deal-breaker omissions. And we didn’t come all this way to settle for less.
Barring the medical needs of individual birds, these care standards are non-negotiable:
- NO physical mutilations
- NO tethering
- YES to flight
- INCLUDE pet shops
Tell USDA to PROTECT BIRDS and include these critical standards.
