As a student, graduate assistant, alumnus, supporter, or member of the faculty or staff of the University of Florida, I ask that you extend immediate and full fee relief to graduate assistants. No one should have to pay-to-work.
Levying fees treats graduate works as student-customers. It is not standard practice for a workplace to charge its workers for the maintenance and upkeep of the workplace. UF is now a top-ten public university. UF needs to treat its graduate employees in a manner commensurate with its ranking.
