Thank Representatives Who Voted Against Unconditional Aid!

37 Democratic members of the House of Representatives voted against sending Israel $26 billion more in unconditional aid over their opposition to the US-backed Israeli genocide of Palestinian people. (The 21 Republicans voted against the money largely citing the inclusion of aid for Palestinians in the bill, not opposing sending more US weapons to Israel.)

The funding passed overwhelmingly―and will likely pass the Senate this week. But supporters of the US & Israel’s war machine won’t be satisfied with tens of billions in new taxpayer-funded weaponry. . Already, members who voted ‘No’ are under relentless pressure and attack. If we want to win in the future, we have to make sure the members of Congress who stood with us on this vote know that we are standing with them.

Screenshot of tweet from @AOC: If you support how these folks voted, I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to let them know. They will be under relentless pressure and attack. It is important to show support - on the inside, it can often feel like there isn’t. Call, write, post. It makes a difference.
