Tammy Baldwin is leading the resistance against Republican attacks on healthcare in the Senate.

She gets it . As a child, Tammy battled a rare illness and was labeled with a "pre-existing condition" that made healthcare astronomically expensive.

As a result, she's spent her time in Washington pushing for reforms to expand care and make sure families don't have to go bankrupt in order to pay for lifesaving treatment.

Tammy is fighting against drug companies that keep jacking up prices on prescription medications that so many Americans rely on. And she's been leading the fight against the Trump administration's attempts to weaken Medicare and Medicaid.
