Watch Together: The State of Our Union

January 30, 2018 • 8:00 PM • Eastern Time

On Tuesday, January 30, 2018 the President will deliver the State of the Union address. We invite you to join us the same evening for the State of Our Union, to hear a new vision from women across America who have come together to change the balance of power.

What gives us hope during dark times are the new collaborations that we are creating -- not only to counter the agenda of the current administration, but to chart a new path forward for the country, and to provide hope.

Together, we have protected each other and resisted the agenda that aims to divide us and keep us from what we need to live well. From the Women’s March to #MeToo, women are joining hands, across industry and community to save our democracy and move us closer to the future we deserve.

During the State of Our Union, we will understand the state of our nation through the eyes and experiences of women, and chart a path together, towards real solutions in the culture, policies and politics that shape our lives.

This is our time to change the direction of America--once and for all.

With hope,

Ai-jen Poo, National Domestic Workers Alliance and Caring Across Generations
Tarana Burke, Girls for Gender Equity and ‘MeToo’ movement
Cecile Richards, Planned Parenthood
Mónica Ramirez, Alianza Nacional de Campesinas (National Farmworker Women’s Alliance)
