Join me in demanding that the government ensures every NHS worker has access to testing and the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) they need to be safe at work.

I am living with advanced breast cancer and rely on the NHS and its staff to deliver the care and treatment it can provide to prolong my life.

I have huge respect for those who work in the NHS including lots of my family members and friends.

However, I am increasingly worried by the delays in providing them with the necessary PPE and testing. Some have even resorted to buying their own gloves, long aprons and visors because they are scared these shall not be provided.

Patients want NHS staff involved in our care to be adequately protected from the virus.
