Here in Ohio, we are on the verge of winning reproductive rights and legalizing weed in just under a month’s time - so long as we all turn out to vote.

Ohioans have suffered from political corruption at the Statehouse for longer than many of us can remember. But in the August special election, Ohioans demonstrated that we are done with partisan power grabs, extreme abortion bans, and the corruption that has characterized the modern Republican Party.

On November 7th, Ohio voters will make their voices heard on Issue 1, a constitutional amendment protecting reproductive rights, and Issue 2, an initiative to legalize recreational weed. While the vast majority of Ohioans support both policies, our opponents will stop at nothing to make sure we don’t show up to vote.

It is CRITICAL that we think ahead and gather support for these ballot measures by reaching out to our networks. Extreme Republicans are prepared to flood the state with blistering ads, misinformation, and confusing rhetoric designed to throw us off. They’ll receive billions of dollars from rich out-of-state billionaires meddling with our healthcare decisions.

In order to win this election, we each need to ask 3 friends or family members to vote YES with us. Without real grassroots momentum, we risk losing this election.
