TX Poor People's Campaign - Interfaith Council

We know that the collective power of poor and low-income individuals can be very powerful when we use fusion organizing to unite our communities. Building broad coalitions from all walks of life is essential to building a transformative moral movement that is capable of shifting the narrative.
We invite you to join our interfaith council of faith-based leaders from across the state as we prepare for the Texas Legislature's 87th Legislative Session, a new Presidential Administration, and a new Congress. Our voices can have an impact on the policies and legislation that shape our communities.

The health and well-being of the nation depends on our ability to address systemic racism, poverty, ecological devastation, the denial of health care, militarism and the false narratives of religious and white nationalism. When left unaddressed, these narratives divide and pit us against each other, while giving rise to a modern form of economic tyranny for the 140 million people who are poor or one emergency away from being poor in the wealthiest country in human history.
