The purpose of this art build is to create strike ready art (i.e. picket signs, banners, classroom posters, etc.) for future actions. With the 95% yes vote on our strike authorization by our Summit teachers and the fact-finding process underway, we are at the point in the negotiations process where we must be prepared to strike if necessary.

We are so excited to launch this in-person community event and we would love for as many folks from our school communities to attend as possible, from those who are artistically inclined to those who want to grow in their creativity and want to do so in community. So please join us! And, to keep our community safe, please wear a mask.
