Virtual Dialog to Counter Islamophobia and Anti-Muslim Bigotry

Dear Friends:

Communities United Against Hate is hosting a series of events addressing hate & discrimination in Montgomery County. As a follow-on to its event on antisemitism in mid-October, CUAH is hosting a virtual dialog on Wednesday, January 10th at 7 - 8:30pm to combat Islamophobia and anti-Muslim bigotry in our community and schools. Please join us to learn what more we can do together to address these challenges. The workshop will include three sequential panels:

Session 1: What is Islamophobia and Anti-Muslim Bigotry
  • Ambereen Khan, Member, Montgomery County Anti-Hate Task Force, Muslim Cohort
  • Muslim Leaders addressing bigotry in communities and schools

Session 2: Islamophobia and Anti-Muslim Bigotry in our Schools

  • Students and parents affected by Islamophobia & Anti-Muslim Bigotry

Session 3: How Montgomery County Government is Addressing Islamophobia and Anti-Muslim Bigotry
