Wage Subsidy Wednesday's

The Morrison Government’s wage subsidy excludes over one million migrant workers and those on temporary visas who are living and working in Australia. With no income and no safety net, this announcement leaves hundreds of thousands to starve.

Following our previous phone banks making thousands of calls to MPs, Premiers and Ministers, we’ve had some big wins for international students and once-off payments for migrant workers. State Premiers have stepped up and announced wage subsidies across Australia, but what we really need now is the Federal Government to take action.

Join us for our new weekly action, Wage Subsidy Wednesday to continue putting the pressure on Minister for Families and Social Services, Anne Ruston and Treasurer Frydenberg.
Each week you will be sent a short social media guide that will provide you with the details and information for the social media action for the day.

We need the Federal government to ensure wage subsidy includes all workers - including migrant workers and those on temporary visas. Currently, two people have the power to make this happen. With enough pressure, Minister for Families and Social Services, Anne Ruston and Treasurer Frydenberg can provide a safety net to all workers.

It will only take a few minutes out of your day but it ensures we can continue to come together to keep the pressure up on Minister Ruston and Treasurer Frydenberg to demand a wage subsidy for all.
