WATCH: Climate Caravan Bus Siezed - Via Democracy Now

La Caravana Climatica and YASunidos are bringing people's voices for climate justice to the COP20 United Nations climate negotiations in Lima, Peru. But on there way from Quito, the Ecuadoran authorities harassed the caravan up to 8 times in 24 hours and last night seized there bus!

This kind of repression is unacceptable. Luckily, activists have scrambled to create a social media uproar and Democracy Now has covered the story. But we need even more of an international spotlight on the Ecuadoran government to make them let the bus continue on to Peru.

Ecuador has seized #CaravanaClimatica bus going to #COP20Lima. RT to get it released! Coverage via DemocracyNow http://bit.ly/1tForiG

The Caravana Climatica has traveled from Northern Mexico to connect with communities fighting for climate justice all along the way and help bring their voice to Lima. YASunidos is a collective fighting petroleum extraction in Ecuador's Yasuni National Park, a bio diverse part of the Amazon.

This is a clear attempt to keep dissenting voices away from the COP20 and keep Amazonian oil extraction out of the spot light. Spread the word to help the Caravan get their bus back and make the biggest ruckus possible in Lima!
