We are #23Together!

Over 1,500 National Education Union (NEU) members in the Girls’ Day Schools Trust (GDST) voted overwhelmingly in favour of taking strike action over the trust's proposed forced removal of members from the teachers' pension scheme (TPS).

This would see teacher pensions reduced by at least 20% on average each year.

This proposal is unacceptable to members who have voted for industrial action for the first time in the trust's 149-year history. These days of action will be held on 10, 23, and 24 February and 1,2,3 March.

On the first of these days, members in London came together to hold a rally outside of GDST HQ.

Watch our film on the day below:

The GDST must value its hard working and well-respected staff and scrap its decision to pull out of the teachers' pension scheme.

Please show your support for the dedicated teaching staff at GDST schools who have taken the difficult decision to take strike to defend their pensions and protect the future of girls’ education at GDST.
