A few months ago, Governor Walker partnered with President Trump to announce that Wisconsin taxpayers would give Foxconn, a Taiwanese corporation, payments amounting to $3 billion over the next several decades. The Foxconn project claims it will employ 13,000 people (in construction and manufacturing-related jobs at their proposed plant in Southeastern Wisconsin).
