After the 110^th day of the session, our routines change just a little bit under the golden dome. The student pages who staff the Senate each year and our own clerks will not return next week. And, of course, lawmakers no longer receive a daily per diem for their travels to the Capitol – smart incentives for all of us to complete our work and get back home.
