The AFT has been leading the fight to protect healthcare and social service workers from violence at work. U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney (D-Conn.) and Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.) have reintroduced the Workplace Violence Prevention for Health Care and Social Service Workers Act, H.R. 2664/S. 1176.
