The Emergency Relief Fund will help bargaining unit faculty that are members of the Akron-AAUP at The University of Akron when unexpected events require a little help with financial assistance. There is an application process to receive funds according to specific categories. The application is reviewed and once approved by the Executive Committee are released to the faculty member. The faculty member has an option to repay the funds at a later date to pay it forward and keep the fund in balance for future needs.
