SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance members contribute to advocacy to create a healthy, safe and inclusive South Australia for LGBTIQA+ people.
Membership is a way for you to connect with a like minded community and take meaningful action to have a positive impact for LGBTIQA+ South Australians.
Organisation/Associate Membership is based on your organisation’s type:
Organisation membership is for not-for-profit organisations or community groups who support SARAA’s vision and objectives and actively work to promote the health, safety, inclusion and wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ South Australians as determined by the Board.
Organisation members can appoint from its members a representative who can speak and vote on its behalf.
Organisation members have the following rights:
to receive notices of and attend any general meeting of SARAA;
to be heard at any general meeting of SARAA;
to vote at any general meeting of SARAA.
Associate membership is available to not-for-profit organisations who support SARAA’s vision and objectives (but do not otherwise qualify for Organisation membership), and for-profit organisations, Government bodies and local councils who support SARAA’s vision and objectives.
Associate members have the right to receive notices of and attend any general meeting of SARAA, they will be invited to attend all organisation and member events, however, they do NOT have the right to vote at any general meeting including AGM.
Current fees for Organisation and Associate members are based on your organisation’s overall revenue. In 2024/25, the membership fees are :
$10 for organisations with less than $10,000 per year
$20 for organisations with less than $20,000 per year
$50 for organisations with less than $100,000 per year
$100 for organisations with less than $200,000 per year
$250 for organisations with less than $500,000 per year
$300 for organisations with less than $1,000,000 per year
$500 for organisations with more than $1,000,000 per year
Membership is valid from the date it is approved by the SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance Board until the end of the financial year.
Terms and conditions
By completing this form you apply to become a member of SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance and agree to support the aims & objective's set out in SARAA's Constitution.
The Board, in its discretion to approve Membership Applications, will determine if applications are Organisation or Associate members on a periodic basis and inform you of the outcome. The Board reserves the right to decline an application for Membership. If your application is denied, you'll be reimbursed the full amount.
