Buffalo Mutual Aid Network (BMAN) is a group for peer-to-peer organizing, humanitarian assistance, and reliable information sharing developed in response to the COVID-19 crisis. Now more than ever it’s imperative that we come together as a community in the spirit of mutual compassion and support. It is our belief that crises like the one created by COVID-19 further exasperate the needs of the most vulnerable among us and that the people themselves are in the best position to identify what their needs are.
All money raised will go towards mutual aid, which will include providing food, over the counter medicine and cleaning supplies. We are preparing to include direct support such as childcare, care giving, and running errands. This is not charity, this is solidarity and the truest sense of community.
