Your money will be put directly into our campaigning fund to support our current councillors, develop new wards and prepare for the upcoming general election.
A typical election campaign will cost around £2,000 per ward, unlike other parties we do not have large corporate or union donors and so rely on our members.
We've seen the positive impact of having seven Green councillors elected and we will be actively working to add to that number over the next four years.
Our ambition is to increase our share of the vote in the next general election and make significant gains in the May 2027 local elections to;
- Become the official opposition in the council
- Improve democracy and make better decisions
- Put environmental and social justice at the heart of our council
We spend every penny carefully and effectively. A regular monthly income lets us plan our campaign more effectively. Donations to the national party will not fund our local election campaign, which is why every penny we raise locally is so important.
