Defend Glendale & Public Housing Coalition (DG&PHC) is a grassroots campaign of public housing (Section 9) residents organizing to prevent the privatization of Glendale Townhomes & the rest of Minneapolis Public Housing, including 42 highrises, over 736 scattered sites, aka single-family public housing throughout Minneapolis Wards. Our objective is to ensure zero displacements, eliminate systematic gentrification, and protect and build more public housing to minimize the housing crisis/ homelessness and the long wait lists of 5 to 7 years that low-income tenants, seniors on fixed incomes, and people with disabilities face.
