Can you help get Councillor Joe Salmon elected to Parliament for Bournemouth East on July 4?
Joe and his team of volunteers are working hard to address corruption and inaction in government.
Joe Salmon grew up in Dorset, attending Queen Elizabeth school in Wimborne, and has lived in Bournemouth since 2016 after moving to the area to start a family with his wife Kate. For the last 8 years he has worked in the NHS, and in his spare time he enjoys playing Magic the Gathering, reading speculative fiction and listening to drum and bass.
Since he was first elected to BCP Council in May 2023 Joe has been passionate about making the council more transparent and accountable.
You can read about his work on the council in detail here on this blog:

The Green Party does not participate in the system of legalised bribery and corruption that dominates UK politics. At the last general election, Labour and the Conservatives spent roughly £4 million pounds, more than 10 times the amount spent by the Green Party. Outside of election time Labour and the Tories outspend Greens by an even greater ratio.
In the last few years Conservatives received £800,000 linked to private health care. Already Labour's Shadow Health Secretary Wes Streeting's has personally received £175,000 linked to private health care providers.
The money MPs receive from sources like this and people Frank Hester and Lord Donoughue is dependent on them advocating for them in Parliament rather than for their constituents. This situation lies at the heart of so many terrible decisions made by both Conservative and Labour governments over the last 40 years.
However, by running efficient and effective campaigns Greens are winning elections at a startling rate. Once people realise they have a Green candidate who will answer to them rather than to party execs and donors, they switch almost immediately. Even in First Past the Post local elections Greens have been winning landslide victories like those seen in Bournemouth wards such as Moordown and Winton East. This is why there has been an astronomical growth in the number of Green Councillors across the UK:
With your help we can start to do the same, not just locally but nationally. We urgently need donations now. The General Election has now been called and will take place on July 4.
We are delighted to confirm that Joe's deposit has been paid, and he is confirmed as the Green Party's candidate for Bournemouth East.
We still need to raise at least another £500 in order to get Joe's Green message out across the constituency.
All donations made on this page will go directly and in full to Joe's campaign in Bournemouth East.
If everyone who voted Green last year in Bournemouth East gives just £3 If we can match the spending and efforts of the other parties.
Thank you for all your support for the Green Party locally and nationally.
