This Fall, all YDSA chapters and organizing committees are to launch YDSA Recruitment Drives on campus. They can purchase Recruitment Kits for $10 or $20. The kits include typical chum like stickers, a banner, etc.

The Metro DC DSA chapter would like to purchase the bigger $20 kit for each of our local YDSA chapters and organizing committees.

Kristen B., our chapter's YDSA Liaison, is currently actively working with students at seven Universities (American, George Mason, George Washington, Georgetown, Howard, U of Maryland, U of VA) and one High School (Watkins Mill).

That's a current total of $160...and possibly an additional $20 each for any other campuses that get engaged in the coming months. But let's at least hit that $160 for the aforementioned 8 schools. If we hit the goal of $200 then we can immediately assist two additional schools as students return from summer break. In the highly unlikely event that funds go unused, the YDSA Liaison will ensure they are reallocated to future needs of any local YDSA chapters. The YDSA Liaison will publicly post usage of all raised funds.
