It's been 4 years coming, but we finally got the Orange Cheeto out of office! We're excited to come together to celebrate and focus on all the work we still need to do as we transition to a new administration and rebuild an America that serves ALL of us.
Our theme this year, Onward Together (Vamos Adelante Juntxs), represents the direction we wish to continue to work. Due to the ongoing pandemic, this year will look a little different than previous years and we are working to highlight and promote grassroots and community organizations that are already doing the work to make the Triangle and beyond a better place for everyone.
In addition to the virtual rally, we're excited to announce that we're prioritizing Language Justice! Our weekly planning meetings are in both Spanish and English so more of our community can contribute. But in order to prioritize language justice, we need money to pay weekly interpreters. In the service of providing a virtual event, we also need to raise money for web hosting, online advertising, and marketing to properly highlight and promote our local grassroots activist groups and community organizations!
