Now more than ever, we must dream together and act locally. It's time to bolster support networks for our neighbors and invest in resilient infrastructure to weather the changing world to come.

That is why EPNI is fundraising to develop community-owned, climate resilient infrastructure at the Roof Depot site. This winter, we will be engaging Minneapolis in the design and implementation of a cooperatively-owned rooftop solar array and an ecologically restorative rainwater collection system.

After stopping the demolition of the contested Roof Depot warehouse, EPNI leapt into converting a long held community vision into a plan - to turn the vacant warehouse into a community-owned indoor urban farm and vibrant hub, full of local businesses and communal spaces.

This historic community-led project continues on despite systemic hurdles because of every single supporter who believes in a future that brings both justice and abundance to the heart of Minneapolis. A future that looks like sharing fresh produce grown year-round in a food-scarce neighborhood, building economic prosperity with 500+ good green jobs, and cultivating shared public spaces for community education.

Still, this future is only possible if we all chip in and build it together.
