Since the Housing Rights Committee of SF was formed in 1979, financial support from community members has been essential to our work as activists, organizers, community educators, and counselors for tenants in San Francisco.
Housing Rights went through a huge growth spurt in 2022 as our counseling and organizing teams took on the rising tide of pandemic rent debt issues, illegal evictions, landlord harassment, and Black displacement. This expansion was made possible in large part by donations from individuals, and we need your continued support to keep innovating and expanding our tenant services and organizing power. That's why we're calling on you to pitch in and help us meet our fundraising goal of $5,000!
