Help us raise funds to support our new statewide coalition of self-identifying female organizers: the Cooperative!
The Ohio Women’s Alliance community offers three levels of engagement: a members-only Cooperative for organizers committed to championing a better Ohio for all; a leadership Cohort for organizers seeking a leadership development environment with a femme and female-only lens; and a Council comprised of members with several years of community organizing experience and a wide sphere of influence.
The Cooperative (the Co-op) is a coalition of leaders dedicated to building community and championing issues that create a better Ohio for all. OWA produces original members-only content for Co-op members featuring interviews and live-chats with experts on topics ranging from understanding oppression to reframing action and power. Most importantly, we champion a culture of restoration in the Co-op, engraining rest and self-care into our community offerings and practices. By forming a restorative community that invites repair, brave conversation, and transformation, we can build a network of supported, resourced femme and female leaders in Ohio.
Creating a better Ohio begins with engaged citizens, and developing an engaged constituency requires trusted, experienced, well-resourced community organizers. Support the female and femme organizers and activists leading this work in Ohio by investing in the Cooperative today!
