Now that the legislative session is over, it's time to get busy building the movement that will finally break the logjam of corruption in Albany.

Our first big project might be the most important. We're going to build the Death Star of NYS campaign finance data, a fully searchable, sortable and downloadble database of the campaign finance records of every member of the legislature and of every statewide elected official. It will be continuously updated and will also include links to votes taken and even JCOPE data and financial disclosures. Every lawmaker will have their own dashboard where citizens can find useful and actionable information on the people they have elected to represent them and those that fund their campaigns.

We'll be working with the top-notch data analysts at Competitive Advantage Research to bring all of this user-friendly data to voters and journalists free of charge.
