Help us change the narrative about what a Democratic candidate in Kentucky should look like. Mae is running to represent Kentucky House District 89. She has been a champion for the region for the last 20 years as a non-profit director and small business owner. She believes in listening, working alongside, and building capacity in communities by supporting the work of existing leaders and organizations. She believes that affordable housing, quality education, food security, mental health/healthcare are basic needs that all Kentuckians deserve regardless of which side of the aisle they’re on. She supports worker’s rights, an investment in workforce training and apprenticeship programs, and policies that support small businesses in creating stable and secure work environments for employees like livable wages, health care, and sick leave. She believes in investing in infrastructure in our rural communities specifically, internet connectivity, roadways, and sewer systems. She believes that ALL Kentuckians deserve these things, and that y’all means ALL.
