IS AN INFORMAL FRENCH AFTERNOON FÊTE AND FUNDRAISER celebrating the French Government for its commitment to replace the $2 million annual donation to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change that the U.S. pledged before its withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement.
ENJOY HORS D'OEUVRES, REFRESHMENTS, AND LIVE MUSIC while learning about climate change issues and scientific research from local Environmental Organizations and from special guest, PROFESSOR LOUIS DERRY from Cornell University. Professor Derry is one of 18 laureates that were recently awarded a “Make Our Planet Great Again” research grant sponsored by the French Government and will be continuing his research part time at Cornell University and overseas at the Paris Institute of Physics of the Globe.
This event is based on a FREE WILL DONATION with other fundraising opportunities. Proceeds of this fundraiser will go to support bilateral research on climate change.
